Green seasoning is a type of seasoning blend. This is similar to Sofrito, Nokoss and Epise .Countries like Trinidad andTobago, Jamaica, Guyana, Senegal, Cameroon, Haiti, Dominican republic and Puerto Rico all have their version of this recipe. It is typically made by blending together fresh herbs, spices, and aromatics. This is the base of most of my delicious meals , it can literally go on anything,Steak, chicken, fish, beans, or rice. It can last up to  a couple of weeks in the fridge and up to 6 month in the freezer.

If you prefer a less spicy seasoning, remove the seeds from the scotch bonnet peppers. For a milder version, you can use milder hot peppers like jalapeños.
  3. Place all the ingredients in a blender or food processor.

  4. Blend or process the ingredients until you get a smooth and vibrant green paste.

  5. Taste the seasoning and adjust the salt and seasoning blend  according to your preference. You can also add vinegar, lime or lemon juice if you prefer it tangier and preserve shelf life.

  6. Once you're satisfied with the taste and consistency, transfer the green seasoning to a clean, airtight glass jar or container.

  7. Store the seasoning in the refrigerator. It should keep well for a couple of weeks. I like to  freeze it , it can also be place in ice cube trays for longer storage and use as needed
